athertalent.com sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media buttons, no third-party fonts and no embedded trackers. It stores no cookies and no local storage in your browser.
1. What this site does not do
- It sets no first-party cookies. There is no login, no shopping basket, no preference to remember.
- It runs no analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Hotjar, no session recording, no heatmaps.
- It loads no advertising or retargeting pixels, and no social media embeds or share buttons that pull in third-party scripts.
- It loads no third-party fonts. Bricolage Grotesque and Source Serif 4 are served from our own domain, so no request goes to Google Fonts or any other font provider and your IP address is not sent to one.
- It has no chat widget, no embedded video and no embedded booking widget.
- It follows your device's light or dark setting automatically. It does not store a theme choice.
2. What our host records
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like every web host, Netlify records standard server logs when your browser requests a page: your IP address, your browser's user agent string, the time of the request, the page requested and, where your browser sends it, the page you came from. Netlify uses these logs to keep the site up, to detect abuse and to protect against attacks. Netlify holds them for a limited time under its own retention schedule. We do not use them for analytics and we do not export them.
We do not use any Netlify feature that sets cookies, such as split testing or password-protected pages.
3. Forms
The contact and CV forms run on Netlify Forms. Submitting a form sets no cookie. Each form has a hidden field that only automated bots fill in, which is how we reject spam without a CAPTCHA. Submissions pass through Netlify's spam filter and are emailed to us. What happens to the details you type is covered by the privacy policy.
4. Calendly
Booking links open Calendly in a new tab, on Calendly's own website. We do not embed the Calendly widget in our pages, so nothing from Calendly loads here. Once you are on Calendly, Calendly's own cookie and privacy policies apply. If you would rather not use Calendly, email faraz@athertalent.com and we will book by email.
5. Why there is no cookie banner
UK and EU law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in the UK, the ePrivacy Directive in the EU, alongside the GDPR) require your consent before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are stored on your device. Consent is not required for technology that is strictly necessary to deliver the site you asked for. This site uses nothing that needs consent, so a banner would be noise. The UK Information Commissioner's Office publishes the guidance we follow.
If we ever add a tool that needs consent, for example analytics, we will add a consent control before it goes live, update this notice, and change the date at the top.
6. How to check for yourself
Open your browser's developer tools on any page of this site and look under Application or Storage. You will find no cookies and no local storage for athertalent.com. The Network panel shows requests only to athertalent.com.
